DEVELOPMENT  I  VISAATEC has developed a round grinding disk with a diameter of 100 mm and a diamond bond consisting of 4 stones and 4 half stones. Their arrangement achieves the fastest possible removal of grinding dust along the edges to ensure an even grinding surface. VISAADISCs are attached to long-life adapter plates which can be fitted with varying number of tools depending on the machine size. The plate was designed with a simple Velcro system to attach the Visaadiscs bearing the grinding stones. The Velcro fastener provides a strong grip due to its extremely strong adhesion. The V-bond integrated in the carrier plate acts as a buffer to cushion the system during the grinding operation and compensate for unevenness in the floor surface.
